i10s responds to Receiver Remote AVRCP commands (Play, Pause, Next, Previous). Smallest size compared to other products made by other manufacturers in this category. Transmits stereo audio from iPods, iPhones, iPads wirelessly to compatible Bluetooth receivers. This product is BOTH Made-for-iPod and Works-With-iPhone, unlike many other iPod Bluetooth Transmitters that are only Made-for-iPod. Includes Authentication IC chip, which allows for local iPod, iPhone, iPad volume adjustment - that is not possible with other Made-for-iPod only transmitters that do not include Authenticaion IC chip. Advantages of this new Tiny i10s vs Sony's (2006) iPod Transmitter:
(1) i10s includes an Apple Authentication chip that will authenticate with iPod/iPhone/iPad. This authentication process enables local volume adjustments on the iPod/iPhone/iPad to change the volume at the remote receiver. Sony iPod Transmitter does not have an Apple Authentication chip and because of this there is no local iPod/iPhone/iPad volume adjustment possible to change the volume at the remote receiver.
(2) This i10s is less than 2/3 the size of Sony's iPod Transmitter, making this a better fit for your iPod/iPhone/iPad. i10s industrial design is a better match for the elegantly designed iPods/iPhones/iPads.
(3) No buttons needed to pair and connect, just plug i10s into iPod/iPhone/iPad and it will automatically pair and connect to receiver. No button also means no additional mechanical failure mode on this i10s device.

I got it last month. It does the job as described. I have only one issue with it. It drains the battery of the Nano 6G in less than couple of hours.

I use this bluetooth transmitter with my Apple 6th gen Nano worn on a TikTok wristband in order to wirelessly send music to bluetooth headphones while I work out at the gym so that I have no wires getting in the way. So far (4 months after purchase) it has been very reliable, and instantly paired with 2 different sets of bluetooth headphones. The only downside is that it rapidly drains tha nano battery after ~1 hour of use. Now if only Apple would come along and make a slightly larger nano on a watchband with imbedded blue tooth, 3G/4G and a longer battery life so I could download apps, check a few emails, take phone calls and listen to music all wirelessly from the convenience of my wrist, then Id be Dick Tracy!

I took a chance on this as it appeared to be new and didn't have a lot of feedback. Wow! This is a great little bluetooth adapter. I'm using it on my 160 GB IPOD Classic and it works great. I also bought a wireless headphone set--Subject PLS-9400, Pulse low profile Bluetooth with mic--what a fantastic combination. I'm thrilled to finally have a way to listen to my IPOD without the pain of using wired headphones that always tangle. Try this, you won't regret it. Try the speakers too, they're awesome.

I wanted to go wireless at the heath center while I workout and listen to audiobooks.
I first got a 6th generation ipod nano and then the iOS bluetooth adapter and the Motorola
S-10 HD bluetooth headset. I have absolutely no complaints. The combo is great.

I love this thing, coupled with a nice bluetooth headset like the motorola S305 and i'm in heaven. Deep part is it works with the ipod controls including Volume Yeaaaaa..
Nice range, very small (only wish is that was some way 2 attach it so i don't loose the thing! I really really enjoy this. i take it with me on every hospital stay. no earphone wires 2 worry about getting tangled with all the hospital tubes and such.

Just as advertised. Worked flawlessly with every bluetooth device I have. I connected it to my ipod nano 6g, paired it with my bluetooth headphones, and let it play until my ipod battery died. I got three hours of music. One of the other reviews says they got just an hour. Maybe their ipod wasnt fully charged or their battery needed to be cycled. Since I'm only using this with my wireless headphones when I work out, this is perfect. I typically dont work out for more than 1 1/2 hours, so a 3 hour lifespan is perfect.

Great on the go wireless adapter. It does not drain the Ipod power too bad and is perfect for use with my wireless headphones.It is so small that it comfortably fits through the hole of my Ipod case and there is no extra protrusion. I recommend this to anyone wanting to hit the treadmeal or trails wireless.

This Bluetooth works great and sound quality is good. I use it from a Nano that I have on a band as a watch and it's good for jogging with tunes. The piece could be slightly smaller to be out of the way of my wrist but I haven't had any problems.

This little device works perfectly with my iPod Nano 4G. I have the watch band and use it with my Bluetooth headphones on bike rides. I am regretting not paying the extra to get the version that operates two headphones at the same time. Highly recommended.

I love that it's small and compact. The range of the transmitter is significant and allows me to have complete control of my headphones.
